Implement Privacy Pillar Applications on Blogger

You can implement the Privacy Pillar application on your blog host that you have created using Blogger, by adding the custom JS through the Blogger dashboard. To be more precise, you must add a gadget and insert the production CDN script into the gadget through the Blogger dashboard.

The following steps are common for implementing Privacy Pillar's Cookie Banner, Subscription Consent Banner, and Social Fortuna.

Add Script and Publish

1. Log in to the Blogger application and in the left pane, select the desired blog.
   
2. In the left pane, click Layout.
   The layout configuration window appears.
   
3. Under the Sidebar (Top) module, click Add a Gadget.
   A list of gadget options appears.
    
4. Click HTML/JavaScript.
   Configure HTML/JavaScript appears.
   
5. In Title, enter a suitable title for the script. 
6. In Content, insert the copied script from the Privacy Pillar Portal, and click SAVE.
7. To save and publish, at the right-bottom of the window click  .
8. Now view your blog. Check that the desired module appears on the website properly.
   Note: If it supposes doesn't appear, try hard-refresh (Press Ctrl+Shift+R) and check it again.

Modify/Update the Script

To make any change in the script added,

1. Go to Layout Configuration.
   
2. Click right to the script that you added, then make the changes, and click SAVE.
3. To save and publish, at the right-bottom of the window click .
