Implement Privacy Pillar Applications on Shopify

You can implement the Privacy Pillar application on your website that you have constructed using Shopify, by adding the custom JS to your website code through the Shopify admin panel. To be more precise, you must add the production CDN script to your website theme through Shopify settings.

The following steps are common for implementing Privacy Pillar's Cookie Banner, Subscription Consent Banner, and Social Fortuna. 

1. Log in to your Shopify admin panel, in the top-right menu, select the desired website (Store).
   
2.  In the left pane, click Home. 
   The general settings appear in the window.
   
3. Click Customize theme and click Customize theme that appears on the window.
   Your current theme setting appears.
   
4. In Actions, click Edit code.
   The code editor window appears.
   
5. A list of code files is available in the left pane, under the Layout folder click select {/}theme.liquid.
   The code opens in the code editor window.
   
6.  In the code editor, insert the copied CDN script from the Privacy Pillar Portal to the code editor, in any line before the </head> tag. 
   
7. Click Save.
8. Now run your website. Check that the desired module appears on the website properly.
   Note: If it doesn't appear, try hard-refresh (Press Ctrl+Shift+R) and check it again.
