III. Post-Scan Reports Overview - Functioning of the Data Discovery Tool

Once a scan is completed, the results are available under the Reports section of the module. The Reports dashboard provides a consolidated view of discovery outcomes, including:

• Number of databases scanned
• Number of databases containing sensitive data
• Total number of columns scanned
• Overall risk level indicators
• Categories of data identified (e.g., personal, sensitive, financial, identifiers)

These insights enable users to quickly assess the organization’s data exposure, identify high-risk systems, and priorities further privacy, security, and governance actions.
